Shoreview North Oaks Animal Hospital is owned and operated by Emilee Alms, D.V.M., and her husband Kip. They are residents of the Arden Hills community and are excited to provide top-notch care to the animals in their neighborhood.

Veterinary Technician
Karla joined the team at Shoreview North Oaks Animal Hospital in November 2019. She has been working as a certified veterinary technician in specialty practice, general practice, and pre-clinical research in the metro area since graduating from Ridgewater College in 2003.

Even as a small child Marissa knew she wanted to work in veterinary medicine. She grew up in east central Minnesota, and attended college at North Dakota State University. After graduation, she started her career as a veterinary technician in Roanoke, Virginia.

Anna has had a passion for caring for animals for as long as she can remember. She was overjoyed to join the team at Shoreview North Oaks Animal Hospital in fall of 2020. Anna was born and raised here in Minnesota and resides in Blaine with her family and Labrador mixed breed dog named Georgia Peach.

Zoie joined our team in June of 2022. After a few years in the human medical field, she realized her true passion was for animals. She is currently in the Penn Foster program to become a certified Veterinary Technician and hopes to one day become a Veterinarian.

Resident Clinic Cat
Norm joined Shoreview North Oaks Animal Hospital in the spring of 2023. He loves lounging around the clinic and saying hi to clients when they come in. One job he takes seriously is "food inspector". If there is any chance that he could get an extra meal or treat he will seize the opportunity.
Caroline
Veterinary Assistant
Caroline joined our SNOAH family in May 2023. She studied ecology and evolutionary biology at the University of Tennessee before moving to Minnesota in fall of 2022. She is currently a student in the class of 2026 at the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine, chasing her dream of being an “animal doctor” when she grows up
